Welcome to the frustration of being a car buyer in Australia. In the USA you go in to a dealer and buy what you want straight away. It's extremely rare to wait more than two weeks for pretty much anything. Perhaps your combo is a rarely allocated one and that's causing the extra time.

That is bad but I can tell you that is not a one off. The reason this is happening is that Territory production has slowed up deliveries of Falcons. I have the same problem and I've had to call people to tell them their XR6 etc is going to be upto 2 weeks late.
On top of all that as Pete says the Luxury Pack can cause delays due to supply. It's take up has been alot greater than Ford has expected.

Ford seem to have this problem A LOT. I seem to recall their great surprise when they offered 18" alloys with SP9000's for $1500 and EVERYONE wanted them - can't understand why.

Do the fruit loops in the product planning ever learn from their mistakes? Maybe I should be asking if Ford has a product planning department? Maybe it's a division of the marketing department - we all know they have their heads planted firmly up their fundamental orifices!

Sorry, RATT not trying to have a go at you, but after 18 months of BA Ford once again show that no matter how much things change they still stay the same

Don't worry mate, it will come in time, Just try to be a little patient with your dealer, after all it's not their fault,they have to recieve the vehicle from it's location too, but delay's do happen.

well one good thing comes from this it means that ford is selling lots of their cars if there is a waiting list... which is good for ford, but it also means you have to wait... which is not good from your point of view, catch 22 situation but good things come to those who wait all the best! Cheers
