yeah i have had no problems with any of my cars by running em on castrol.
dad never uses valvoline, it stuffed his ute up.
penrite is good, but i found my motor sounded a little bit noisier than the castrol, went back to it and all was good.

I allway's change the oil in all my vehicle's at 5000klm interval's, but I'm thinking of going out to 7500klm's as 5000 come's around very quick.

Yep i change my oil and filter every 5000klm but get it done at a Ford Dealership cost about $180 for the GT.

oil and filter regularly is cheaper than replacing an engine even after 5years
PS penrite HPR50 works well for worn out crossflow motors gives a bit of oil pressure
dont go too heavy in oils as i've heard of oil pump shafts breaking in crossflow motors

ALSO i agree valvoline is NOT good. use valvoline and you'll see what i mean
