Oil pressure sensor

My oil pressure sensor is fuc*** i have never seen oil come from my car as quickly as it did. I went and picked up a new sensor from repco ($6.80) and bought it home but it seems as though the connectors to the wires are different. The sensor thats stuffed has a flat blade thet the plastic wire thingy slides onto. The sensor that repco gave me has a round head that the same connector is supposed to go over...whats the story??? any ideas

Cheers

It should fit, the connector just slides in between the gap in it to the circle part.

Oh btw u sure the sender is for the right dash. coz the guy said u can get one for the light up one and one for the Guage type.

One more thing the new sensors bolt seems to be about 8 mm bigger than the old one, however the thread sizes are still the same. The old sensor is 26mm i think and the new one is about 18mm
