Thumbs up EA User Manual HELP!

Dear Dudes,

New to the Ford scene, as I just bought an Nov '88 EA Ford Falcon GL. I wondered if it would be too naughty to ask if anyone has a scanned version of their owners manual for the EA, and if so, could they please email it too me! Hope this isn't too naughty (illegal or whatever) to ask, just need help to get a good overall picture of my car! It's certainly different to my '76 Valiant Regal, god rest it's soul! Any help in advance would be so cool thanks! Emails first to bladedragonlord@yahoo.com thanks!

Blade!

It would be illegal (copyright-wise) and extremely time-consuming to scan an entire manual, nor would it be readily accessible to you in the garage if it's on the computer. My recommendation is purchasing a secondhand manual. There is a shop in Melbourne that sells books of this type if you are interested.

If you goto the myford section on the ford website, you might be able to get an online version of your manual. I got one for my EL, but I don't know how far back they go.

Mate,

To save you going all over the place trying to source 2nd hand ones, just go buy the new one. Will cost $40 or so and you have it at your fingertips. AutoBarn has them.

Owner's & Workshop Manuals

Hmmm...now, the first thing to do is get a manual for this thing since it didn't even have the owner's manual with it.

I saw mentioned in a thread somewhere (and I cannot for the life of me find it now!) that a store in Sydney specialises in owner's manuals. Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with this place (I live in Qld) - or if there is somewhere else that I might be able to get a copy of a manual from (can I order one from Ford perhaps?)?

Also, who can recommend the best worshop manuals for these cars (EBII Fairmont)? Gregory's...Haynes?...any recommendations would be appreciated!

Cheers
Damien

Read Manuals

Mate,

Gregories are the most popular..book number 262 should set you up nicely for the EBII-ED. Haynes manuals are more in depth and cost a few dollars more but worth it.

Most auto retailers should have copies on the shelf.
