Re: People.. .need honest opion on extra badge...

6x9 holes have already been cut

beofre i bought it.... no good for me though because im putting splits in the back... *grrrr* great thing about that badge is that it comes off as easily as it went in...

if i were to replace the engine in the future... would it be better to put another 3.9 init? or would a 4.0lt conversion be ok?

Re: People.. .need honest opion on extra badge...

I love it. I'm a fan of clean and basic, and that badge is exactly that, but the other badges (ie. the ford and SV3900) make it look cluttered. You probably wouldn't wanna remove the others though being such a rare car...

Your choice in the end.

Re: People.. .need honest opion on extra badge...

if it were mine, i would keep the original motor stored in the garage. that way if you do ever decide to sell it, or if they become a sought after car, you can put the matching number engine back in. remember, a Genuine XY GTHO is worth nothing if its only got a 302 in it.... same with your car.

do ya hot 4.0 conversion, have fun, dont crash / trash it, and it might be a fair investment for you in a few years time, perhaps not a house deposit like an XY GTHO would be to sell now, but it might return a bit of money for you in 20 years or so

i hope you get what i mean and im not just waffling on...........
