Hey, does everyone who bought a new Ford in the last six months know that you can have photos of your actual vehicle on the production line emailed to you. All you need to do is go to the Ford Australia website and quote your vin or sido number and they will send the pictures to you.

When do you usually get the VIN or SIDO number ? I haven't heard anything at all from the salesman since I signed the dotted line.

This feature has been available for a while. I did it when I bought my XR8 back in AUG 2002. Nothing particularly special. From memory I got 3 mini photos. Could have been ANY black XR8 in the photo..........

My Fords so old that when I enquired at the factory they sent me a picture of it chiselled into a granite slab.

The VIN and SIDO numbers are on the sticker which you can see when you open the drivers door.
