hi all, want to share pics of my BA falcon XR6 ute Herrod motorsport headers and with the full 2.5" exhaust, it sounds like a beast!!!! I use to drive a 200sx and the BA is a good car. My 1 concern is the fuel display says ave. 14.9L/100 kms this was a total shock to me!!! reading other posts here its way above the average. any help is much appreciated.
G'day there,
Good to hear the the 6 cylinder ute sounds good as i'm deciding what zorst to go for with mine. My ute gets between 10.5 and 11.9 litres per 100, depending on driving, some highway, some city. Were the headers chrome looking when you bough them? don't look quite as special when they rust, but you get that. Your fuel consumption figures, did you get these figures before the zorst went on? As i've heard headers can mess with the o2 sensors, causing it to run rich.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but ive got pacemaker headers on my BA XT as well as full 2.5 zoorst and the day i got it fitted i gave the car a bit cuz it was like a new toy :) but i am starting to take it a bit steady and fuel consumption is about 13.8 with 11,000Kms on the engine. So i might give it a few more thousand kms b4 i judge how much fuel it chews.
Cheers Dave

the headers are mild steal, so they will rust im thinking of taking them off and giving it a nice paint job. I bought the ute with the headers already fitted, it's got 40000kms. my trip computer since last reset is 5000kms. any way to fix the o2 sensor?
