Yeah, as the title suggests, I was out pulling all the mpi gear off the other ea yesterday and decided to try my hand at polishing up the fuel rail (since i'm such a ricer :D) anyways.. i took some photos:







also polished the fuel pressure reg, and half polished the air bypass valve (cant figure out how to get to part of it properly and cbf really lol

i did mine a few weeks back, only lightly with 1200 then 2000. Came up great.

Now I wanna take it off and do it proply though. mehh. 8-)

good job, autosol i take it? put some clear paint on it to protect the shine otherwise it will just go dull again. i hav'nt needed to do mine as it still has the goldy green colour on it and is still shiny.

600, 1200, then autosol... cos it was fairly bad in parts... started with a mounted polisher but couldnt get to as much as i wanted (and bent one of the brackets :-/)

had nothing better to do so...

clear paint sounds like a good idea will do that tomorrow probably...
