Hi,

I live in Brisbane and looking for a shop for a not too expensive port and polish. There need to be certain thing done to my heads (eg, combustion chamber work to reduce compression, larger valves/inserts installed, new springs installed - of which I have already purchased and can provide).

Does anyone know of any decent shops that can do this? I've been to a couple already... (price has come back outrageous).

Try T R Engines (Slacks Creek I think)... if they won't do the polish they may suggest someone who could.

try coorparoo performance, i had some work done to the six with those guys... reasonable rates, but the guy knows his ford engines.....

Unfortunately the services your looking for are 100% labour and since they
are not going to make anything on the parts (which you have supplied)
naturally any decent shop wouldnt do you any favours with the labour.
Ive found , along with more than a few others, that this is one area where
it really is a case of you pay for a cheap job and thats what you get.
Nobody is going to spend the time and make sure everything is perfect
and exactly as you wanted if your not making it worth their while.
