Just want to confirm, was there a power GT 16:1 steering box or did they only come out as manual.

my xb gt has a kirby-bishop variable ratio box.

Power stearing in the box were all variable ratio (XA on). XR/XT/XW/XY used a manual box (16:1) with a hydraulic ram near the steering linkage for power assist.

So XR/XT/XW/XY had 20:1 non p/s standard.
16:1 p/s option across the range (including GT).
16:1 non p/s GT only.

XA on had 20:1 non p/s standard.
16:1 non p/s GT only.
Variable ratio p/s option across the range (including GT).
