Why is it that all reviews conclude that the SS nudges over the XR8 in the performance department?

XR8 power to weight= 6.9
SS power to weight= 6.8 (closer to 6.76)
in an article i read between the SS, XR8 and Clubbie, the SS ran a 0-100 acceleration time of 6.2 and the XR8 ran 6.1

The point that seem to be missed from all of the current media and hype...is reality.

Both products are rear-wheel, muscle-car relics. ie....
- heavy and over powered
- presentation is in the eye of the beholder, but for me, the Ford is less pretensious
- the LS1 is stretched and the Boss 260 is conservative

I guess Ford wins!
