I'm in the market for some new shocks to match my superlows. However, I am tossing up whether to splurge out on Konis, Bilsteins or something similar, or just stick with the shocks Whiteline sell (I think they are KYBs).

Does anyone know the cost for a full set for an EB-ED sedan? Or where the best (cheapest ) place is to get them from?

Ultimately, is it worth the extra pennies?

shortened or 'lowered' shocks will give you improved ride and handling for sure

to give you reference, i payed 800 for 4x shocks, 4x springs and 2x camber kits... camber kits being around 400 for the pair i think

so its not MASSIVE cost... depends who you know too :p

Both Koni and Bilstein are superb, if you have the money, it's a no brainer.

Im running King Lows and koni reds (front) and bilstein (rear)

not terribly happy with it actually.......was thinking about going to some progressive rate springs. The bilsteins are originally out of a XE ESP......have a nice little ford stamp on them too :) I paid 600 all up for my setup (including camber kit)

I have Monroe GT gas on the front and Bilsteins on the back.
I would have Bilsteins on the front too, but when they needed replacing I just didn't have the $$.

The Monroes are pretty decent though, but not on par with Bilstein or Koni.

the bilsteins are great, i have a set on the front of my ED. have also got a spare pair which need servicing.
