I called up a few local places regarding a rear garnish (the plastic stuff on the back of the boot that the numberplate goes onto) for a EB-ED Fairmont. I wanna change mine from Futura to Fairmont look at the rear....

Whats a decent price for one in good condition??

This is kinda the first thing i am going to purchase for my car and have no idea what prices second hand stuff for e-series is worth...

I paid $35 at Pickapart for mine, but its the first one to come into Campbellfield pickapart. Think Sunny has the other one to come into Pickapart for sale.

whats the different looks between the futura & fairmont. thought it was just the badge.

Futura is black, Fairmont has the red upper and orange lower to match the lights.

I paid 50 bucks for mine and a tail light.

i paid $25 for an ED one which was cracked a bit where the number plate screws in and $35 for another ED one which was in excelent condition, no cracks, water leaks or fades from Jollys. swapped my original ED Ghia one to a mate which was faded a tad and leaked water for some parts.

I have got prices from 40 to 100, all apparantly in good condition so i will go grab one today....

think it will okay, i reckon it makes the rear end more (ph)at....

Purchased one today, the best one i could find... Think my tail lights are fairly new as they not faded at all... was hard to find a garnish that was not faded but got an okay one... Thinking i might tint (very slightly) the whole rear across the lot now?? anyone got pics of a fairmont rear end done?? dont want real dark, just SLIGHTLY....

I got real dark windows so i think it might look okay??

There is a car at JR's that has a tinted Fairmont garnish and in my opinion, its a little pointless, if you want it dark then just get a GLi one and put a fairmont badge on it
