Put A Lid On It?

Hello U,

Does anyone know where I can get a centre console lid for EB-D cheap, they're still avalible from Ford for $140+ Bugger that!

go 2 the wreckers...u can get it for free if u put it down ya pants..lol...is that a console lid or are u just glad to see me? ..probably only $10 if u pay for it

I re-uphoulstered mine. your chances of getting a good one from the wreakers are slim.

tried the wreckers, no chance of even them having a crapy one to re-uphoulster. my old one to shagged to re-uphoulster inner plastik cracked.

Make your own with a sheet of metal and some foam.....not hard. Time consuming though

The bottom plastic on mine broke so I made a replica out of MDF and attached the cushion back...

My mate has manufactured his own console lids and covered them in vinyl with the playboy bunny embosed into it, looks quite classy. I've also seen another one made out of solid timer and it was stained and varnished, looked like it was a stock part in this Fairmont Ghia
