That link didn't work for me, but in general Ghia wagons are among the rarest of the EA-EB II cars (can't remember if there was an ED Ghia wagon).
They may be worth a bit extra because of that, and http://www.redbook.com.au/ may be able to help with 'comparative' prices (ie relative to the usual EA-ED models). Just be sure to avoid taking the prices at face value, because they are usually off the planet.

I paid $6K for my EB GL wagon a year and a bit ago so that sounds good too me :)
Here is an idea.... Just buy a GLi wagon and convert it too ghia specs!!! ~
The link doesn't work because I bought the car from that auction.
11/1992 Fairmont Ghia wagon, 182km, the BBS style wheels, silver with light grey interior, 4.0 litre 4 speed auto, smartlock, LSD, ABS, hayman reese towbar. Rough interior (needs a clean) and below average paint but it was $5300 which compares well with prices I saw for some rough 'S' pack wagons.
Must say the extras such as cruise, climate air are nice. Just interesting to see how a Ghia from 1992 is so similar in equipment spec to a Forte in 2002!

I guess then it all depends on yer priorities. I personally like a nice clean, high-gloss finish on my paint work so if i were to buy that car, a respray would be on the cards. As for the interior, i also like a nice clean set of fabrics. If they are just discoloured due to dirt then that would be ok but if the velour is worn away a bit then thats a replacement interior (just to get everything perfect). How are all the options? All in working order? Electric windows working? A/C functioning? cruise? Just assess yer priorities and then if something is wrong with some parts, think about how much to fix it up to your satisfaction! Then try and knock him down on the price to atleast compensate some $$$ for any repairs. :)
Yeah. Took pics but need to download from camera. Car is dirty inside, however the trim itself look okay so I guess a few heavy sessions with chemicals and a steam cleaner will do the trick. Everything works except one rear power window and the electric aerial (it has a manual one fitted).
Spent $400 on new brake parts (including new slotted rotors) and about $100 on a few roadworthy items like replacing indicators. But it has rego to June next year and will only need two tyres soon. Now need to spend time fixing the numerous oil leaks and she'll be okay (damn these s!xes leak oil!).

If the timing case is leaking, use this blue stuff from Japan (that's the technical name), I think toyota use it. It will never leak again. There is also an updated gasket that I think came with EB2 but it might be EDs which is better than the original one. Just make sure you ask ford for the updated one.
Anyway, this is stuff my mechanic told me a couple of years ago when my old EB timing case was leaking. Hasn't leaked since.
