I am interesting in purchasing a XR8 Sprint in the future. I read somewhere that the engine in the XR8 Sprint and the EB GT is the same as the American 5 Litre Mustang. The reason I ask this because apparently there are really good turbo kits made for the Mustang available in America.

The engine is apparently the same one fitted to the Mustang Cobra.

Is it really? i thought the engine was made here not some Mustang donk. I mean I know the engine is made in the states or Mexico or whatever, but I though Tickford tuned the engine.
