What are the colours available for the XR logo when you get leather seats? I've only seen red, and was wonder is there blue and grey available like the carpet mats and momo gear?
you should know as you work in a dealer but no they are only available in red unless you get aftermarket leather fitted and then you can have what you want

Yeah but I'm not a saleman!. I don't get all the specifications handed to me on a peice of paper as it's irelevant. I only see what I get to see, which has been very few XR's with leather seats, but all seemed to have the Red XR logo.
Anway, I think that they should have atleast Blue XR logo. That would look stupid a Narooma Blue XR with blue momo wheel and shifter, blue carpet mat stitching and red XR seat Logo.
Edit:
Done through the dealership by
Blackman & Son's, Warm Charcoal in Austen leather produced here in Australia at Lara, has very soft feel to it and comes with a 4 year warranty.
If it's done though the dealers then howcome it's not a delar option on the Ford website? Or is it a contracted company like individual dealers have for tint and stuff?
Looks allright though, how much more is it than the $1,980 factory leather option? Not like I'm ever getting one but I was just curious.
 2k all up :muha:
1day turn around:
Dropped it off at Westpoint Ford Werribee on a Monday around lunchtime they trailered it over Tuesday Morning got a call Wednesday arvo to come pick it up, three days out of my hand's but one day in there shop, not too bad for a full leather interior including the inserts in the door's.
Admittedly they had 2 weeks notice and they do most all leather interior upgrades for dealership's so they would have had them ready to plug in, but it's still not a bad wait time in my eye's, compared to waiting 2-3months for pre-delivery leather. :smlwink:

OMG I love those seats. I'll definately be asking the dealers in Sydney about aftermarket leather. The perforated stuff in the XR's and GT (presumably the same sort of stuff) makes me shudder.
That and after 2.5 years, the factory leather in my HSV is not looking so good on the driver's seat. Hopefully the aftermarket stuff is of higher quality (or at least I can choose to spend a little more on it).
