Anyways the article is dated: "By MARTON PETTENDY 7 April 2004"
And i quote this paragraph incase you don't read it:
Quote:
Mr McKenzie said Holden was currently debating its pricing structure for the facelifted VZ Commodore due on sale in August.
Specifically, it must decide whether to pass on the 3-5 per cent tariff rate reduction as an incentive from launch, or whether to lower prices later. The decision will be crucial for both Holden and Ford, which will present an updated BAII Falcon the next month.
Another conspiracy or someone who knows? I guess the general consensus around here is for Sept anyways,.

Are these Journos reading our predictions on the web and then reporting them? I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Mmmm, V10...

Territories offically out next month, I dn't think they will bring out the Series 2 Falcon at the same time. As others have said, Octobers looking more likely
Ford and Holden tend to use the same model launch cycles, so it makes sense.
XR8 getting 18's and whatever else it was till September means October on-sale is a safe guess.
On top of that, Geoff Polites said to us (when the FPV-Tickford Club met him while in Melbourne back in February) that the FPV F6 would be on sale in December.
So BA2 goes on sale October - probably on the same date as the start of the Sydney International Motor Show, followed a couple of months later by FPV series2 after they also display their new models on the SMS stand - the exact same model as Holden/HSV use.

Which would mean the exterior of the XR's will remain much the same. Seeing as the F6 uses the same headlights etc doesn't it? That's a good thing, i wasn't sure whether to wait incase it didn't look as good but i guess i may as well stick it out now.
