How good (or otherwise) are Rare Spares rust replacement panels?I am asking this because I have noticed a heap of guys wanting XB guards & doors.I know that there are heaps of guards & doors out there with varying amounts of rust and I know you can buy rust repair panels,so I am wondering if there is a reason why these guys aren't going with the repair option.
I am in the same boat by the way!

The panels are not as good as originals, they do buy all the ford stock, so you may get a real one, but the reproduction ones are not made to the same quality standards so dont fit perfectly as you would expect, the materials are good just not fit and finish, hence repair of a nice fitting panel is preferred (and you can say it has original panels too).

I have heard of a gye in melb who makes 1st quality repair panels IE Coupe rear window sections and the report was that fit well, can any one recall what who & where.

I wish.I know there is a NSW mob called Classic Panels who have just done a coupe tail light panel,but I don't know of anyone who has used one yet.I'm waiting for someone to knock up new coupe body shells!How hard can it be??!!
