Hey guys ,

Im getting my exhaust done on moday and was quoted just under $1k for Hurricane mandrel bent extractors , LS1 CAT (few thou K's old) , and a choice of a 2.5" Mercury mandrel bent ready made car back (with resonator) OR Redback 2.5" cat back system redy made - not sure if its mandrel bent , anyone know if it is?.

My question's are -
A) am i getting ripped?
B) What would you get , the mercury or red back (sound and quality wise).
C)will this system be loud enough - but at the same time not to quite?

ive searched the forums first but couldnt find much...

I personally have no experience with redback or murcury, but near $1k seems a little steep.

Just keep ringing around, some places give different quotes on different days aswell :)

Oh and a AU cat should cost $50-75, they flow pretty well i hear

The next cheapest quote was 1200 and then 1500 big ones so i just assumed just under 1k was good...

I've used both brands and they have been very reliable. I really cant say which is best.

I've got a Redback, it is an excellent exhaust. I love the sound I get it is a clean, healthy and tough sound not like the commodores. I can't comment on the other, but I know you should be happy with redback
