does the whole garnish have to be replaced or does that lens 'pop out'??

depends who you go to but i would say no. cracks are acceptable but 'holes' are not usually.

swap the garnish with another car, get the roady, then swap it back. :0)

Yea Your re-registering the car?

if re-registering, yea must be changed.
if just a change over rwc, its iffy but id change it anyway JR's have one there ATM
