Rang customer service enquiring about my BA xr8....after a few minutes of chatting that person also said that ba could be recalled because of steering shaft problem...any truth to this.....shrug:
There was a recall at the start of BA launch RCMC277 steering shaft check where you would just turn the steering wheel full lock both ways and if nothing broke it wss okay. Only other thing I can think of is the TSB 51/03 where you hear a clicking type noise at low speeds.

hey cobra i am getting that on my ba. i really only noticed it after the dealer did the other "fix" on the steering shaft. is it a major prob?? should i get it looked at asap?

YES!! the recall is true!! and my car has already been checked and cleared... My local dealer has check a lot of XR8's but havent found a single one with the APPARENT problem.
