hey all, i just managed to get my hands on some 12 slotters, from my prevous fake globes, they look much more dressy, but the problem is that when (someone else) fitted them with my 235's and mounted the tyres, it was not until i got home and found half my sidewall left all over the front quarterpanel that i wished there were decent ppl who check their work.

but my problem is that i really want the 12 slotters, and my heierarchy wont allow spreaders. Any body got any ideas PWEEEZ!!!,

btw it is rubbing on the upper strut (i think thats what it is) all i know is that the fake globes had a larger offset.

Are the tyres scrapping on the guard as well as the strut??

What size rim's are they and what vehicle and has it been lowered,if it is rubbing on the strut's you can get a wheel spacer but we really need to know some more info on your vehicle.

sorry, was a bit vague there, its an xy fairmont. In terms of mods the only thing i can tell is the noalathane, its not been lowered and about 1000k from my car at the moment i wont be able to give you much more im afraid.all i now about the rims are they are ROH 14x7 and they came off a fairmont (chrome plated)

but is it the strut that is the horizontal support from the chassis (lower one has spring and shock bolted to it, upper is parallel to that) im pretty sure im right but no one has ever directly told me.

it is so far away from the guard that im thinking i need to lower the bastard =)

i was thinking spacers too, but when i put them on, i tested with a normal wheel nut (i have these long, closed fancy ones normally... not my idea) and it only made half way on to the stud, and $250 for perf studs combined with spacers really didnt appeal to the old folks.
