I used to subscribe to the theory that I should service mine every 5,000, but I have barely done that many kays in the time that I've had it, so I 6 months or so is my standard interval. Cost varies because I was usually having other stuff done at the same time.

But my next service I will probably do myself, which should be fun.

Don't know of this will be of any help, but anyway, where I work they charge $120 for what they call an interim service, basically its an inspeciton of the car, change oil/filter/sump plug gasket, adjust the handbrake, top up all fluid levels, check it on the computer and you get a car wash aswell, all up it takes about half hour for the mechanic to go over it, 5 minutes for the foreman to road test, then get washed and its done.

Bigger services obviously cost more, I think 30,000 services are about 220 and just about everything gets changed except brake pads

Service intervals are 7,500km or every 6 months, which ever comes first
