I just went into my garage and I was shocked at what i saw!!

My XR GT's back window/screen was shattered but still intact!!

No sign of forced entry!! nothing dropped from the concrete slab above!!

I'm bloody pissed!! anyone know how this could occur... the screen was mint... no cracks etc

Where the hell am i going to get another screen?

Temp changes can do this... was the rear screen wrapped at all or just lying on the ground??

I've got an old Valliant parked (dumped) in the back yard, exactly the same thing happened to it one chilly night, I put it down to thermal stress in the glass.

It dose give you the shits when that happens, but never fear give Obrians a call they stock rear glass for most early falcons.

Obriens are expensive phone around I just got the windscreen redone in the ute and had the back glass reinstalled for under $300 I think they were called Total windscreens, I will have to check but they are in the yellowpages
