Is there someone out there that can help me with what built stage in the production line or even a release date for my XT V8.
The ford dealer is more or less useless for information after you have signed the bottom line.

My sido number was 328659 and the car was delievered to the dealer today, so i guess yours isnt too far behind mine.

So your car is only 517 after mine, and mine was finished last week. I would be expecting the dealer to have it in the next couple of days or maybe at the start of next week.

My xr6t auto, SIDO 312413 gets delivered to the dealer in geelong tomorrow. Got the word straight from fpv today that mine is one of the very first auto t's to leave them... This is due to the gearbox upgrade. Gonna go have a bo peep at it tomorrow. Can't Wait !!

Yeah the Sido numbers on the XRs must be behind the XT's, Futuras and Fairmonts

i don't think the model of a falcon has a bearing on the SIDO. I guess I should have stated that I ordered mine on September 13th! Thats why my SIDO is so low.

ok well i thought that it was the order of cars to come out of the factory in line. Mine is 328659 and the car was at the dealer today. So i dunno. Does anyone know what the deal is with teh Sido number?

I have a hard job making sense out of a lot of the info...codes etc but it looks like it's on the trim line

I'm pretty sure the SIDO is allocated to the car right after it is ordered. As far as leaving the factory, whatever car you ordered determines that. For example, an XT with the poverty pack will be pumped out a lot faster than a fully loaded XR6T. I guess the SIDO can be misleading unless you happen to know exactly ford's production schedule.
