Does anyone know what the standard interior (dash/upholstery) was for a silver auiii fairmont?

Could have been Graphite or Charcoal. If it was me id go for the Charcoal (black) as the Graphite is the ugly AU I grey colour.

All AU2/3 Fairmonts, Fairlanes and XRs have the charcoal interior.

Incorrect. The only ones that you couldnt get Graphite in were the XR's, you could still get AU II / III Fairmont, Fairmont Ghias and Fairlanes in Graphite.
