Tires

True True on my beast i had some goodyear stock 205 tyres, they were shithouse, always span up, i wouldnt wanna imagine what it would be like since my car now makes 200rwkw, the RE92 i find sticks to the road like glue

Tyres..

i got 225/60/15 g grids all round
very grippy in the dry (make awsome racing slicks when bald) and not too shabby in the wet.
but i can still loose traction pretty easy cruisin in 3rd

Recommendations

My dad has been buying very cheap and nasty tyres, $70 jobs from bob jane and the likes (brand new tho, not retreads), It doesnt feel very safe in the wet at all goin round bends even doin 5-10k under the limit, and nearly always I get wheel spin unless I take off slower than a grandma

What's everyone else using and what do you's recommend that wont cost a fortune

I gotta little story. When I first got my licence I was driving round in a Datto Bluebird.First time it rained when I had my falcon I gave it a little round a round about and she allmost hit the kerb. Later that day I realized It had an LSD diff in her. Its a little diffrent from the open wheeler on the bluebird

I found it impossible to lose traction with my bridgestone G'grid 225's.

it would have to be wet with steering locked ready to do donut before it would slide out everywhere. was quite happy

now i have dunlop fronts, so once the rears lose it, the fronts just go with it.

slippen

i have dunlop bathurst 225/50/16 on my car all round. great in the dry, pretty good in the wet. most of the time can't spin em in the wet in a straight, but if floored around a tight bend, you get a bit of a slide
