Sorry if this question has been raised before.

I just want to know if there is a recommended setup for the 220kw BA V8. Going through Herrods site it suggests a single 3 inch system rather than twin pipes. Are extractors and high flow cat recommended?

DavoXT seems pretty happy with the Herrod setup! Me - well I'm a TwinSystem(tm) kinda guy :s6: Hopefully Rob will come up with a twin option for the SOHC, that would be the go!

I'm only guessing, but I reckon the stock headers would be pretty crap on the Triton, and another guess would be that since the heads are nowhere near as wide as the DOHC, you'd be able to fit much better ones than standard without too many dramas.

Anyone in the know care to sort us out here?

Theres nothing wrong with a 3' single,especially if you got hi flow cats and a good set of extractors...
they sound better than most people think and are not restrictive and give a great boost in horses without losing any lowdown power..

Anyone got any piccys of what the 3 valve cylinder heads look like? Would be interesting to compare with the boss 4 cammer.
