Where in sydney are there wreckers that let you get parts out yourself? I'm looking for places with EL or EF Falcons (engine/intake components wanted). I also want to practise taking the bastards apart...on a car that isn't mine and i figure this is the best way of going about that.

Try pick and payless out at blacktown. why not try the yellow pages! and call around

Altho last time I was there ( about 2-3 months ), not many EF/L (about 3 last time) - mostly ED and earlier. Many are ex-taxi's...

And in summer, it's going to be very very very hot work getting anything of the cars (ie pick your day - don't go on a hot one).

If you are wanting anything off the car that involves getting under it - take a mat or something as well (and possibly some stands).

oh and just to tell you these wreckers are called "self serve"
don't go through the yellow pages looking for "get parts out yourself" LOL
