I have a AU2 6cyl xl ute,8/2000 and i use standard ngk plugs(bpr5ey-11).They need changing and i want to put ngk iridiums in..ive read they last for 160,000ks.?Will she perform better and can i use them in my ute .?Part number would be appreciated.thanks.

JUST GO TO THE PARTS SHOP AND ASK FOR IRIDIUM PLUGS FOR AN AU, I THINK MY PART NUMBER IS - WV16R - . OK . MINE WORK GREAT ALOT SMOOTHER. ALL THE BEST
The factory Iridiums in my AUII are still going strong at 70,000km.
If you want to stick with the BPR5EY-11's open the gap up to 1.3mm and you will be amazed how much smoother the idle is. This was a Ford recommendation on petrol AU's only. DO NOT try it with LPG.
