Well finally ive got down to the problem ive had with my car since i had the T5 put in. The F#@!ing engine mount!! I couldnt figure out why under load my car was jumping around all over the place. Apparently the mount was cactus and when the engine was underload, the block moved so far that the clutch wasnt mating properly and was slipping. YAY! my car is actually racable now!! So, now i got that problem sorted, im after more power!!!
Look at my list below and please suggest things that would increase my KW figure. I know i should get a decent cam, any suggestions??
Cheers
Brent

Seems that the next step would be a shorter diff ratio, depending of course on what you already got. Further head work as well as a lumpier cam may also be an option. After that, it may be worth your while getting a uni chip put in, expensive, but will gaurantee maximum performance from the work already done.
Perhaps a BBM outta an EF-> with the dual runners hooked up??
Hahahaha garth, i expected that from you! I dont think i can afford that option :(
I might go the diff... currently got 3.08 so might go the 3.45 lsd (if i can find one for the wagon) Any suggestions on cam type, specs?

3.45 LSD from a ute should fit, failing that get a VL diff and take yours in, get the diff shop to put the centre in your housing - thats what lukey039 has in his car.
or you could get a 3.7 or 3.89LSD from a skyline....
i reckon you should also get the EF BBM manifold happening too.
what XR is the head off? if its a EB apparently they flow 330hp stock, so porting is a waste of time, unless you get a aftermarket computer and a Really Big Cam.
give surecam a ring and tell them what you have and what you want out of it, they should be able to grind you up something very cheaply.

I can get new Genuine Holden/Ford/Audi/Land Rover/Honda parts cheap, PM me!
XR head was an ED one. The diff job would be big $$$ i assume. Might go cam 1st.
Wheel spin on the wagon at the moment isnt like it should. U really gotta give it some to get that happening. I think they wanks put a CFI fuel pump in when they did the MPI. Will have to check that out too... Thanks for the info..
