Who in WA wants to organise a similar thing with a MPFI conversion; make it a club meet day so everybody can have a squiz!
Hehe of course this is a specially good idea for me as I have all the parts for sale.....hehe...
Seriously though, any takers? Better ideas? I would post this in the meet section but am unsure how many people actually read that.

Well i'll have to give Sunny the credit for the idea - he was the one who originally thought of it. Will be good if we can pull it off. Part of the plan to rid the world of CFI
damn i want to rid my car of the cfi disease
but cant get the parts for the right price

I'm interested in getting my 1991 EA CFI converted to MPFI. So long as I can fit it in with work and uni, it'd be great! How much do you want for the job mongrelEB (including parts)? Would you do the conversion? I'm not that mechanically knowlegedable, but I would be willing to assist as best I could. I'm considering selling my EA, but with an extra 19kW of power and the added torque, it'd be pretty hard to say goodbye to her for a while longer. I don't have a whole lot of cash, but I'd be willing to pay you a fair price.
Hmm. Not as much interest as I'd hoped for, had been hoping to turn it into a club day out.
I would ask probably something around $150 for parts - manifold, pump, computer, injectors/sensors etc. Could do you a dizzy as well if you wanted but is not really necessary.
(yes NZ i know its different, but it makes no difference to the running of the motor :s6:)
To install it - I dunno, what'dya reckon's fair? Probably a couple hours work, all up.
Time is not important to me, the gear's not going anywhere and if we hold off a bit longer we might get enough people to put together a day out (I really want that, can you tell?)
:)
j biafra88: Don't sell the Falcon, with a little work and not much money, depending on condition, you can keep them reliable and trouble-free for years.
Although I'm not one of those rabid "this brand must be best because I drive one" people, in fact drove a Holden panelvan before and plan to do it up, getting the Falcon has converted me. I sincerely believe these are some of the most reliable and best value cars out there. The famous head gasket is usually caused by inattention or ignorance on the part of mechanics, not something you will have to worry about with all these people to help :)
