after a three month wait the superbird is nearly complete. see pics below. some minor reassembly and it will be done (decals, bumpers etc). in the pics is only wearing an old set of 12 slotters, the 15*7 and 15*10 cragars are going back on.

next step is stroking the 302 to 351. bought a 351 crank, going to run 302 conrods with the new special pistions. going in for the new motor next week.

thanks for that, i have a mint original louvre on mine but would have bought that one as a spare. too late unfortunately.

the coupes engine comes out this weekend for its rebuild, here are the details:

- jet hot pacemaker tri y's with 2.5 inch collectors, into 2.5 inch dual system with lukey mufflers and x pipe. twin gt tips (fitted yesterday)
- tfc 2v manifold
- roller rockers, head porting
- large cam
- 351 crank, 302 rods, special pistions
- 770cfm street avenger holley
- rebuilt borgy diff with 3.7 gears

Genuine louvers are hinged at the top & bolt to the roof & are NOT held on with the little tabs like the 1 on ebay
