hey im new here but i know a bit of my stuff about fords neway i was talking to a friend of mine the other day and they reckon they sore an AU XR6 Station wagon i mean i quickly disagreed with them but they swear that, thats what they saw so if ne-1 out there knows if ford made them let me know plz

What they saw is probably a home conversion. Anyway it dosen't matter as Ford didn't/dont make a AU/BA XR Wagon

I have seen what looked to be an AU XR wagon but on closer inspection was a fairmont with xr fron and badges, was white.

I've seen a Black Fairmont AU wagon with the series II XR front, looked really smart but no, Ford did not build any AU XR wagon's

The closest I know of is an SR in a 6cyl.

Some dealers do XR front conversions, aftermarket and as new vehicles. Anything to make a buck.

There's a dealer near me that'll do it to any AU for about $1400

Yeah dealerships in Brisvegas were doing the AU 1 XR conversion on a few wagons!!!
