Whats everyones thoughts regarding the BA XR8 bonnet? Is it just me or does it look like a ugly swollen prostate on the front of the car? I think if they made the hump go all the way back to the windscreen it would look much better, anyone agree? From the front it looks good, but from the side it makes me wanna puke.

Hopefully they'll fix it up for the GTHO.

i love it. i think it looks great. Really they had no choice either, they had to put it on. I thought maybe a bigger one would have looked better but this just looks pure horn, espcially on the GT. Thats my opinion.

not to big & not to small
when you drive a V8 the bulge is not to obtrusive if it came all the way to the rear edge of the bonnet it would impead your vision & if it was any smaller it would look like a 6cyl cortina

Everytime I look out the windscreen at my lump on the bonnet , I get a lump in my pants

I think it looks great, menacingly aggressive without being over the top. Especially in Mercury Silver. *drool*

Be happy they changed it from the small bump they had orginally planned...

If you went to the motor show and picked up brochures or signed up with ford to recieve information regarding the then "upcomming" XR8, you'd see that the bump was narrow and just over the inlet manifold... wasnt like a V that it is now... looked really crappy...!!

As for me, every time I look out the windscreen, its like a friendly reminder, I'm in a MUSCLE CAR!!
