I had a 80cm throttle body fitted by the dealership - someone just told me that would void the warranty. Dealer told me thats not the case but I don't have it in writing. Anyone out there have any views. Thanks

it shouldnt be a problem, if the rest of your mods are covered, i'd think that a factory standard throttle body would be fine.

i am get a few things fitted at my dealer pre delivery ss cai, spacer, short shifter as my dealer is a Herrod dealer and he said all Herrods products are Ford approved and will not affect my warranty. Maybe some non Herrod Ford places will react differenty.

So how have you found it XRDUST? Good, bad or can't tell any difference?

I haven't had much time this week to drive it and it came to me with the throttle body, air mods and Herrods exhaust so not sure what it was like standard. I can only compare with a standard Mk1 driven a few weeks ago and would say that response and acceleration is greatly enhanced.
I will get it Dyno tested soon and see how it comes up

Sounds good mate. Just about to dyno mine while she's still stock and then do some mods and I'll have a good comparison to see how well the work has done.

Better acceleration, yeah thats the stuff!
