Hi everyone,

Im looking at buying an AUII.

I came across one at a car yard, AUII S pak. It claimed to be tickford enhanced. How do I confirm this? It has the badge at the back, but that means nothing.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Also check for a tickford mod plate just near the water bottle under the bonnet. I know the XR's had them if you optioned things like bodykit's etc.
Mine doent have one and never did however I've checked and its legit.
Send an email to FPV or better still ring them and give them the vin and engine number they should be able to tell you....

If its a genuine S (never seen a fake one) then yes it will have Tickford Suspension and a VCT motor.

If you want to make really sure, then grab the VIN of it, and enter it in at myford.com.au, and it will give you the records of the car as they built it.

The AU S pak (unlike earlier model S paks) had the Tickford suspension though the engine was standard. Sunroofs were also added by Tickford if it has one.

So yes they are, in effect "Tickford Enhanced"

I would imagine that the rear badge was added by the previous owner though.

I have NEVER seen a S pac with a VCT motor.

The S pak had the same engine as the Forte

My Au2 S had the Tickford enhanced plate under the bonnet, stating that Tickford had added the sports steering wheel.
Didn't have a Tickford badge on the boot though.
