here she goes after 5 months of toil out in the garage. Originally OCD-001 was a '74 fairmont hardtop and red pepper but decades later it got the gt replica bug with badges here and paint there (oh yeah and also the correct crankshaft). but its time to take her back to her childhood. at the end of this saga it will be back to fairmont tradition with a shiney new badge on the back. the colour though is custom-deep metallic burgundy.
actually just the door and a bootlid. Because the car is still on the road i have to get panels done a bit at a time. Preparation takes a long time and with saturdays only to do them, it has been slow.
the body is being prepped and sprayed now and should be done in two weeks.
still preparing the bonnet, right guard and right door.
just got a full rubber kit too. Love that new rubber smell!almost as good as burning rubber hehehe
