Re: tranmission oil leak

Do you mean from the leaver where its connected to the actual gearbox ?????

Theres a rubber type (in the best words I can describe) ring that sits around the lever .... its only costs a few dollars ...... I had mine replaced in the 4spd before it was fitted .........

I may be corrected but Im sure that it is accessable thru the center console......... I know my XF one was, If you take that out you will see where its connected & should be able to replace it there

Re: tranmission oil leak

From what i've seen, the lever goes right down to the side of the transmission.. Not accessible from the center console.. It's a hoist job..

Re: tranmission oil leak

Selector shaft seal... its about the size of a 5 cent piece... pull the selector of the side of the auto, flick the old seal out and wack in a new one
