Question Trip Computer Problem.

I Recall reading on this forum some time ago before i became an XR Owner some were having problems with the trip computer showing the correct AVG speed info.

Mine has'nt moved off of 51 Kmph since I have owned the car it's now done 2068 Km's and about 800 k's of that have been long country driving sitting on 110 k's for hr's at a time.

The dealer says that there are no fault codes coming up so there is not much they can do not very sattisfying considering what the car cost.

I know it's only a small thing but if it is there then it should work is the way I look at it.

I was just wondering what other peoples experiances have been.

Regards
Wayne.

Re: Trip Computer Problem.

Have you tried resetting it?

Mine started the average at 1 kmph - for GTP that very funny!!

Resetting mine fixed it.

Re: Trip Computer Problem.

To reset it, just press the button that cycles through the different displays and keep it held down for about 2 seconds.
