With Ford, when does these updated models start production....do they hit the road in October?

I've just placed an order through my company which has fleet arrangements and it usually takes 4 months to deliver....any advice would be appreiciated.

your dreaming....especially considering the FPV forced induction cars can't run an auto (they could but ford doesnt want to spend money developing one, it will hit the buyers hip pocket) because of the high torque levels.

but it seems reasonable the other models would get one, and optional on base models.

the reason why the fpv turboes dont have an auto is that the current auto cant handle the torque and it wouldve been a waste of money beefing up the auto since the new 6 speed is coming out that can easily handle there torque figures

I believe the new 6 speed auto is comming from the Jag. It is a prestige auto and will be the first prestige auto to go in an aussie car. It will be put into the F6 model. The reason it will go in, is because it can handle the torque levels.

A six speed auto falcon, that would be AWESOME!
Its a pity that it didnt come out on the BA falcons, (Espcially XR6) as that is there biggest weakness compared to the bombadores.

Also if the newer fords were a tad lighter they would be great, get them down to bombadore wieghts and the extra power of the fords would help them seriously whoop some holden backside. (not that they dont already do it!!!)
