ok a while ago i was talking of turboing my ea falcon.

well i am here to say its going ahead :-)

i have so far got my 900hp t72 turbonetics turbo (yes thats not a misprint you read right-thats 900hp!!!)

a 770x400x70 cooler
a au cylinder head ported and flowed to 360+hp
ef block,rods,crank
acl race series rebuild kit (with dish tops)
late model supra turbo 5spd gearbox
3.7 ratio 28 spline v8 diff with lock-rite center (detroit locker type.)
gtho phase 3 type uni's
full delco management and a 1100hp bosch fuel pump
full k-mac suspension set up 30mm sway bar o front and 27 on rear
all thats left to do is to install everything into the car

with a whole host of custom parts on the way too being made by my self and a few off siders.

at the moment we are looking at 650+hp and a 10 sec pass but a au block and forges rods/pistons and a nitraded crank will help to crack 900hp and a 9 sec pass.

anyways just a quick post to let you know what i am up to and that i am not full of b.s!!! lol :-p :-)

any ways have a drool over a pic of my pet snail its MASSIVE!!!

but to give you an idea the turbo's comp cover is a bit larger than a soccer ball

would a I6 4.0 put enough exhaust gas through that snail to spool it up must be 1 tuff ass engine!!!!!!! or r u you gunna use nos?

no no nos i fully disagree with nos systems unless they are used in full out drag racing set up's ( i dont belive in any thing thats illegal to drive on the street should be used in any form of racing bar for all out drag racing)

but the engine head is now flowing 362hp so that should help the snail spool as will the exhaust maifold we are designing at the moment also the cam and intake is set up toward the low rpm scale to help down low response after all this IS a street engine but its looking like the motor will fully spool by 3500 prm and the motor is designed to spin to 6g quite easily.

and yes laminge better look out if he ever heads up this way or if i ever head down that way
so far the setup has costed me (for all things not just engine) 12000 but i estimate 18000 by the time i am finished (which is a lot for a ea!!!! lol )

but i am already planning for next year
next year i plan to put a t88 compressor and comp cover on and a au bottom end with custom valves (read HUGE) in the au head i have now forged rods/pistons and a powerglide auto wth 9 inch
and 1000+hp
goal is fastest street driven ea in oz!!!
but thats all money i dont have rite now but i now it will happen soon.
