does anyone have a MP3 file of a BA XR8 exhaust note?
i called herrod today about a exhaust system for the sedan and ute.. a cat back system for $850, the bloke reckons it sounds unreal.

so before i go and get them fitted i would like to hear the note of it..

even if its stock or got a systme on it, it would be much appricated

Cheers
Teza

its $2200 fitted for a Herrods BA exhaust extractors back... is that a bit steep for 20kw?! they made a system for the 5.6L that gave 35KW for the last series...

Kypez - See your 'mods' thread for my reply!

Sparkles - The video of it idling should be good, but I'm not sure whether the other video of it driving lesuirly up the street should be available to all members of the public! If you think it's fine, I'll put it somewhere where everyone can see it, not just the BSR Boys™.

Video of BA XR8 with Herrods Exhaust and Extractors idling.

Either click on the link to view it, then save using Windows Media Player; or right click and 'save as' to save it to your hard drive and play it from there.

Thanks Ford Fanatic for that video. You realy needed a longer recording of the exhaust sound though. I've allready driven a Herrod exhaust (cat back) fitted XR8, so I know what it sounds like. Very very sweet .
