srv dt Registered User Join Date: Jul 2003 Location: Victoria Age: 53 Posts: 27	Venom Red XR8 Tomorrow ! first oil change ? G'day all.I pick up my new XR8 tomorrow morning.Yippee ! I know the guy who engineered the 5.4 for Ford here in Geelong and he recommended I use Helix for the first oil change but said not to panic about changing it very early but just wait for 3000 klms.He said the oil filter is there for a purpose and not to be too concerned with the reports here of particles in the GT oil filter at 1500klms.I'm wondering about how my warranty goes if I change the oil filter and oil myself though.Any ideas anyone ? Thanks Ron
