No spigot bearing = dead T5 As soon as you letthe clutch out the clutch plate won't be centre and you'll have all sorts of nasty vibrations and before long the input shaft will be cactus.

Not a good thing when your halfway through converting a car and you realise you don't have the spigot bearing :$ Been there done that

No $19 isn't cheap enough when you are a cheap bastard, but I want one too.

MINOR set back however. Don't wanna post details of it but my change from 4 to 5 speed looks like it's being delayed a wee bit. Hopefully still before Heathcote next month, but we'll see. It's all for the best in the end anyway.

I am soooo jealous! I have done 2 conversions so far and both have been well worth. It may be a lot of work, but the end product makes it enjoyable doing the conversion. I wish it wasn't so damn expensive to convert the AU. :(
