Im buying an XD for 500 bucks, the body is straight as with a bonnet scoop, no trans or engine (how i want it) with a ford 9'' diff and no dash also how i want it. I will be going on a road trip in july up to qld to pick it up.

iam manking this a several year build, will be droping a 351 in very later on, first thing will be spraying it blak getting the outside looking A1. dropping it new wheels ripping out the inside, rollcage in only 2 front seats removing the dash just having custom dash with few dials new carpet. then the expensive stuff will fall in it, engine for my ea will be complteted before work on xd starts. wont be long

You're a dedicated man.

But you might find that when you look at the cost of respraying and rust repairs, you'd be better off spending 1 grand+ on a really good body. That's assuming the $500 one isn't the best. Keep us posted.
