Static? Dynamic? If you know and understand what the coefficient of friction is,then I bet you already know the answer to your question?? If not,do you really need to know and why ??

I think he means Coefficient of Drag (Cd). Should be around the 0.30 mark somewhere. I wouldn't expect it to be under - with the rear spoiler & wider tyres not helping compared to the base model car which is usually used for quoting the Cd of a car.

The AU had cd of 0.295, I'm not sure what the BA (GT) is.

Re: What is the BA Ford GT's Coefficent of Friction??

i read somewhere that Cd for the XT sedan was 0.29...the GT will probably be higher. I know the Commodore is higher than that- somewhere around 0.31

It's highly unlikely that the drag coefficient of a BA is better than that of an AU. If there's one thing that the AU got right, its aero efficiency (this does not give high speed stability BTW). The BA is a looker, but its bullnosed front end and squarer arse end won't be more efficient than AU.

There is a link below that gives a good, easy to understand description of drag as it applies to cars.

VY commodore is 0.319...can't find BA Falcon anywhere. I realise that its unlikely to be better than the AU, but I would swear I read it somewhere as 0.29. Oh well.
