Ok on my ED the head has stamped on it 94AB
is this EF?? If so does that mean I have EF cam ? What else on the engine is likely to be EF? The car is JUN 94 build. Did the last of the EDs get EF engine bits?

Later EDs got EF bits. Would probably be a complete EF motor with just a ED rocker cover. You probably have got all the EF goodies like rocker gear, cam, integrated half-moons on the rocker cover, 12 counter weight crank shaft etc. etc.

well its got integrated 1/2 moons and if its in power it upshifts at 5200 and its pretty smooth so maybe I have the EF crank too??
I dont have a BBM though which would be a big giveaway lol
