What is the newest (falcon) v8 that can fit into a EB?

I am under te impression that an AU V8 is the same as that which was available in the EB anyway, so i cant see why the Windsor wouldnt fit.

AU will fit, need different exhaust manifolds/extractors.

John, I believe the Boss will fit. They whacked one in an AU and after looking at dad's AU and the EB with a tape measure they are the same width. You'd need a custom bonnet of course.

i think its between the shock towers that is the reason they don't fit. it may fit in an AU, but that could be also to do wtih the reason that AU extractors won't fit E-Series V8's
